This guide has been written to provide conceptual and procedural guidance for the application of quality management systems in the field of concrete construction. Modern construction requires more and more specialised expert knowledge and involves an increasing number of participants in the construction process, such as architects, designer, material producers and contractors. The quality of the construction depends on the quality of the work of each participant and, in particular, on the organisation and flow of information at the interfaces between these participants.
