The fib supports the 3rd International Workshop on “Durability and Sustainability of Concrete Structures” (DSCS 2025), which will take place from 16 to 18 September 2025 in Naples, Italy.
This is the third edition of the International Workshop on “Durability and Sustainability of Concrete Structures”, after the successful past editions of Moscow 2018 and Bologna 2015. This international workshop aims to present and discuss the most innovative developments and research on the durability and sustainability of concrete construction. Among the topics to be addressed are: reduction in CO2 emissions; use of binders alternative to Portland cement, superplasticizers for low-content clinker cements, recycled materials and innovative products; design of durable structures; maintenance, repair and refurbishment of concrete structures. The topics will be tackled from all perspectives, from material science to testing, from environmental impact evaluation to design under severe conditions and will include maintenance, monitoring, repair and reuse of concrete structures.
