It features reports on the Russian national member group, ACF 2014, DISC2014, the 80th anniversary of the Eduardo Torroja Institute, JPEE2014, the fib MC2010 short course in Brazil and prestigious awards won by fib Members. As part of a new focus on the relevance of fib Bulletins for engineers having to perform maintenance on existing structures, the article 'Old for new: Penang Bridge' deals with the renovation of the cable-stay structure in Malaysia.
fib Membership Directory 2015
The fib's Membership Directory 2015 is now available for downloading from the Members Only section (log-in required) of the fib website. Members will receive a complete printed copy of the directory by postal mail in March.
fib Symposium 2016 Call for Abstracts
Prospective authors are invited to submit abstracts for the fib Symposium 2016 which will be held in Cape Town, South Africa from 21-23 November 2016. Abstracts should be sent no later than 31 May 2015. Please visit the symposium website for submission requirements.
