The entry deadline for the 2026 edition of the AOS is 27 October 2025. The awards will be presented at the 2026 fib Congress in June 2026 in Lisbon, Portugal.

Entries from all over the world are welcome, independent of whether they are created by members of the fib or not. Structures entered in the competition must have been completed between 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2025. The jury may accept an older structure, completed one or two years prior to July 2021, provided it was not already submitted for the previous edition of the award (Oslo 2022).

To commemorate the awards, the fib will publish a colour brochure presenting selected entries, including the "Awards" and "Special Mention" recipients. The brochure will be distributed to fib members worldwide in about 1’000 copies; and more copies will be distributed at the Congress in Lisbon. Parties involved in the realisation of the entered projects will be offered discount rates for both advertising in the brochure and purchasing extra copies.
